PAF College Lower Topa is a residential institution run on classical public school lines. The aim is to impart quality education as well as to provide a healthy environment that would help produce confident, disciplined and courageous young men possessing a strong character and qualities of Command and Leadership. In order to a round personality of the young students, an all-out effort is made to instil in them a passion of selfless service towards the nation with a sense of pride, motivation and dedication.
Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Khalid Dabir was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of
Pakistan Air Force in November, 1985. He is a qualified flying instructor. During his illustrious
career, he has commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Operational Air Base. In his staff
appointments, he has served as Director (GD) Group and DCAS
(Personnel) at Air Headquarters Islamabad. He has served in Saudi Arabia on Deputation. He is a
Graduate of Combat Commanders' School, Air War College, National Defence University and
Armed Forces Staff College (Malaysia). He holds Master's Degree in Strategic Studies and a
Diploma in Strategic & Defence Studies (Malaysia). He is a recipient of Hilal-i-Imtiaz
(Military). He was appointed as the Principal PAF College Lower Topa in 2022.
Group Captain M Hamayun Kaleem, TI (M) got commissioned in PAF in 1999. He has done Master's in English from University of Peshawar and Master's in War Studies from National Defence University, Islamabad. The officer has very vast experience of instructional, staff and command appointments. He has been an instructor at College of Aeronautical Engineering, PAF Academy Asghar Khan, College of Education, Air Headquarters, Peshawar In his staff appointments, he remained as Assistant Director Education, Staff Officer Coordination at Chief of the Air Staff Secretariat, Deputy Director Education and Deputy Director Schools and Colleges at Air Headquarters, Peshawar He has also remained as Head of Humanities Department at College of Flying Training, PAF Academy Asghar Khan and Officer Commanding Pre-Trade Training School, PAF Base Kohat. He has been editor PAF Journal "Shaheen". For his tremendous services in the PAF, he has been awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) by Pakistan Air Force.
Officer joined Pakistan Air Force in 2015. Sqn Ldr M Asif Javed has MS (Computer Science) and M.Sc Computer Science degrees from B.Z University Multan. He has done several courses during his short service including Basic Teaching Technique Course, Advance Pedagogies from College of Education and professional courses from PIM, Lahore and Air University, Islamabad. Officer held key appointments at College including College Adjutant, O i/c Sports and Mess Manager Pre-Cadets' Mess. Besides teaching Computer Science to the Pre-Cadets, he is managing College website and still holding different appointments at College.
Qualified and well-experienced teachers have been employed for the education and grooming of the students. Some of the faculty members have done courses from UK, USA and Canada . All the teachers provide adequate guidance to the students by utilizing most advanced teaching techniques being used in the world.
The college has counsellor, who looks into any behavioural problems faced by the students.
Close supervision and effective teaching is ensured by departments of Science and Humanities each headed by a Head of the Department.
The two departments are further divided into academic sections as under:
Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Mathematics.
Humanities: English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies and Fine Arts
