Sir Syed House (Earlier Corfield House)

Syeditis are all round personalities. They believe in “determination”. They are equally good in academics, spoils as well as co-curricular activities. Diligence, authority and supremacy are the trademark at mighty syedites who always excel in all fields at College life and shown that continuous struggle and courage define them and empower them to rise at every occasion. In session 2022 – 23 syedites proved their abilities in all domains at College.

Pre-cadets of Sir Syed House proved themselves in academics. This time once again, by clinching the academic trophy, they have shown great level of consistency in academics. AX and AW entries stood first in all exams at this year among their entry. Pre-cadet Asad Munir got 3rd position in HSSC-II examination by securing (983) marks. Pre-Cadet Shahzaib Ahmed got 1st position in SSC-II exams by securing (1061) marks. Pre-cadet Baitullah got 2nd position (1059) marks. Pre-cadet Ahmad Tariq got 1st position in SSC-I examination by securing (493) marks. Syedites remained equally good in sports. By the combined efforts of AU, AV Entry, Sir Syed House clinched 2nd position in Inter House Football. They stood on 2nd position in Inter House Badminton. Syedites were able to achieve 3rd position in Inter House Volleyball. These great efforts in physical activities made Sir Syed House able to secure a good position in Quaid-e-Azam Shield Trophy.

Co-curricular activities and debates is the legacy of determined syedites. The eaglets of Sir Syed House are amongst the best debaters of college. In Inter House English Declamation Contest (2022 – 23), syedites took the trophy with the efforts of Pre-cadet Jawad Raza, who clinched 2nd position among the debaters. In Inter House Urdu Declamation, they stood on 2nd position and Pre-cadet Yawar Abbas grabbed 2nd position in Urdu debate. Pre-cadet Yawar and Pre-cadet Jawad also represented the college in different Bilingual Declamation Contest among the different colleges of Pakistan. Pre-cadet Jawad Raza got 2nd position in APDC held at Batrasi. All the syedites had shown their excellence individually as well. Pre-cadet Yawar Abbas was declared as the best player in Inter House Football championship. Pre-cadet Jawad Raza and Pre-cadet Yawar Abbas got positions in Declamation contests of English and Urdu. Pre-cadet Abdul Wadood got 1st position in Juniors Inter House Naat Competition. Pre-cadet Haseeb performed well in almost all the spots events.

Under the guidance of House master and leadership of the senior most entry, Sir Syed House improved a lot. They have left no stone unturned. This is not a story of 50 boys, in fact it is a story of very dedicated team, working like a family day in and day out, striving for excellence in all it endeavours.
